I pulled a muscle in my hip or butt... Either doing yoga or running. I can't think that it was yoga, but u ran the day before and my right side ached. After yoga, my left hip throbbed and it hurts to walk or lay on my left side. I obviously want this to heal before I go running again, but how long will that be?

  1. oh :( I have heard it can take everything from 2-3 days upto 3 weeks :S depends on how bad it is -

    btw Harlow told me you did the couch25k program a while back - did it work well for you? how long did it take before you got rid of the "oh Im gonna die if I run another second" feeling? (if you know what I mean hehe)

  2. That really sucks about the pulled muscle. It totally could have been yoga if your muscle was already weak/tired from running? A couple days off and it should Be ok but if it still hurts after that maybe hAve it checked out.

  3. Just don't try to rush yourself back. You don't want to make it worse so that it takes you that much longer to be back in action.
